Open Question: Setting up a remote webcam?

My parents have a vacation home in the mountains and my Dad always likes to check local web cams (from their home) to look how the area looks. I would like to set up some right on the cabin that he could check at our other home in Florida. We don't have internet at our cabin but we could receive a local service for cheap and I have a pal who has his possess server that could host it. Open Question: Website Name - Avoiding copy right infringement.?

I have a website. Its about a European Bank, who acted in an dishonest manner with my investments, made me suffer huge losses. The name of the site is two part - first part of it has the name 'initials' of the bank. OK. The site been running for years, till the bank contacted the Web Hosting firm (USA based) and threatened to sue them (NOT me!!) if they didnt close down my site - cause (they claim) it violated copy right infringement laws/rules. I moved my site to another webhost, also in US, but again they threatenend the new host with law suit. Where can I host my site (other than in US, Euro, Asia, god knows where!) in a location/country, where the legal arm of this major European Bank (also has huge US presence) can't reach. Any ingenious thoughts, appreciated. Ref. GNU/Linux - have no idea how to go about it! Are there people around who can assist w/ this tech matter. As for the IP, think that whatever ISP I will run my service from, they gona be chased by the Bank, to block my IP/account !?

Open Question: MY Web browser does not open any website although connected to Internet?

Hi, I have a Cablenet at my home and it shows connected to internet but I cannot browse using Internet explorer or Firefox or cannot chat using Yahoo or MSN chat. It seems to be some nice of a virus because my laptop alos faces the same problem and with my laptop I am using a dial up modem,although I can connect to FTP. When i try using msn it says something about the HOST connection. I called the Internet guy to check it he tried to Ping the serve and he can do that successfully and said that there was some virus problem with the web browser. Can anybody help me with this issue please. I have searched silent a lot on the Internet but without any luck. Please help me as I am too much helpless without Internet connection

okay. so ima newb at this internet domains and such... so i have a domain at godaddy.com and a web host from weebly.com and i changed the Total DNS control.. "a host" to what weebly wanted.. but i found out that I could just foward it... so none of my fowarding works right now.. and I want my "A host" to be back to what it was.... what is the default "a hosts" for a domain? I have downloaded outlook 2007 to my laptop as I have recently set up a website with email addresses. My web host has provided every the settings to set up the emails on outlook but ITS NOT WORKING!!! HELP. My ISP is Sky and they have provided me with the SMTP outgoing server setting which is smtp.tools.sky.com and my web hosts have confirmed I am putting every the right settings in every the right places when setting up the email on outlook so whys it not working. Open Question: Privacy problems with my ISP re: use of Utorrent?

recently i heard that Obama's favorite TV character was this gay gang banger, named Omar, on an HBO TV show called "The Wire" ... anyway i could not find anywhere to buy every 5 seasons, so i just tried my luck with torrents it worked fine and i got to watch my show anyway i receive this letter from my ISP , saying "HBO sent us a complaint that you downloaded this show, and we do not want you using Utorrent, and you need to send us a letter stating that you deleted these TV shows, or you may face prosecution and we will disconnect your internet" anyway i feel like my right to privacy has been violated ... do i have any options as far as taking my ISP to court (or even HBO) for violating my privacy? the thing that is so hypocritical about the ISP's attitude, is that they still host binary newsgroups with tons and tons and tons of pirated content ... example "alt.binaries.dvd" etc i know that no one hardly uses newsgroups anymore (because of torrents) but nonetheless oh and my ISP goes by many different names for some reason - Web-ster internet, Canby Telco, CanbyTel, Canby Telecom etc .. also for reasons unknown but i thought i heard that "Comcast" was recently reprimanded by the FCC for sending people letters like this http://www.canbytel.com/internet

Open Question: I've tried port forwarding but it still says a port is blocked.?

I am trying to unblock the port "6900" and I myself am really good with computers so my conclusion is that my ISP has blocked the port on their possess but I am not sure. I have a ZyXEL EQ-660R and a Linksys WRT54G I suspect the solution to this problem, if there is one, will be the solution for problems I've been having with hosting games. (But that's not the program in this case.) As mentioned in the title, I have tried port forwarding and double checked what I did on http://www.portforward.com/ but the web site http://www.utorrent.com/testport.php?port=6900 says the port is blocked. Any advice? I'm using BitTorrent but the problem is that port is blocked. I tried doing port 80 since that works but there was no speed in change. I'll try a different torrent client later. Mind giving me a link?

Or is it CSS? I'm looking for a person knowledgeable in MySpace coding. They just changed the MySpace customization features so I have to redo my profile because I hate having a plain one. I'm not yet adjusted to the coding layout of the new profiles. I don't remember the exact coding, just that it includes the image url (duh) and the two coordinates (in px) where you want the image. The tricky part is figuring out which code will work where. If I put the code in certain text boxes, it will be overwritten by the MySpace coding. Basically I just need to position an image over some unwanted MySpace text. I don't know if Yahoo will take out any of the symbols, so it'd be very neat if someone could just type it out in paint and upload the image to a host so I can look it. No, neither of those are correct. It includes "height= XXpx" and "width=XXpx". It's longer than one line.

Open Question: Counter-Strike Server?

Ok, so I got a sweet srcds server set-up with beetlesmod and lots of custom maps. I have a person who gave me free web space that is connected so clients can download maps if they dont have them. My question is though. 1. How do I make console messages, like for instance; I am playing css and just randomly a message popsup saying this "Check out our Website at www.whatever.com" no admin did anything but the message still came up in chat message, how do you setup that? 2. I downloaded and installed Apache on my local computer. I know almost next to nothing with how to use it. I was wondering how i can set up a web page. Anybody know good program that will help me make my page. I Have the domain name and idea every set up. I did not want to use a webhosting server.
